Because you're paying them so little, they usually pay little attention to making sure the surgery went smoothe. Who knows, while you're knocked out on the tables, they could go in and take a kidney and you wouldn't even know it. There have been reports of this. I don't think it's a good idea to travel to third world countries for a cheap but dangerous surgery because if something goes wrong, the cost of fixing it would be equivalent to getting the surgery here in the U.S in the first place.
