im 28 yrs old and im thinking about getting a boob job. First I would like to know if anyone know how much is it or how much is a fair price. I kinda scared of the outcome, but I think it will be ice to feel a little bit confident too. what do youb guys think?
Well first of all, build up your confidence. That’s more attractive than any set of breasts. Once you have a developed confidence in yourself and you still want to get breast augmentation (boob job), then go for it! But be aware of the risks involved and ask your surgeon questions.
I paid $6675: I got silicone implants, 400 cc’s, moderate profile plus, sub-muscular, with the areola incision. I just got them done earlier today and I feel practically no pain! There’s some pressure on my chest and my armpits are a little sore (feels like I did a LOT of push ups), but other than that the most painful thing I endured was getting the IV right before the surgery. But that’s my experience. Some women have TONS of pain after their surgery, some women (like me) don’t have any pain or just have very little. But I am told, the hardest part of the procedure is the waiting period; right after your surgery, your breasts are recovering so they’re not going to drop and look natural right away. You will have to wait anywhere between 4-12 months to see final results. But hey, I’m working on day one and so far I can tell these bad boys are going to be awesome!
If you have any questions, just ask me! I did a TON of research and chose an awesome doctor and I say it’s worth it so far! But do your research, and don’t rely on breasts to bring you confidence…that should come from within!
Good luck hun!
It’s better to get your confidence elsewhere.
When I went in for a consultation, the doctor told me how they’d put the implant in, and how to take care of it post-op. That was enough for me to change my mind (I didn’t like the idea of having to regularly massage them to prevent them from hardening. I also didn’t like the idea of losing sensation).
I don’t remember how much she said they cost. Several thousand each, or so… That, plus the risks and aftercare, and possible complications, PLUS having to either re-do them or take them out in 8 year’s time really didn’t make the ordeal worth it to me.

I personally don’t think it’s worth it unless you’re flat as a board. Big boobs aren’t all that. I know ’cause I had a reduction about 8 years ago (38-H - yes I was a boob monster
lol), but you must choose what’s right for you.
A good boob job will run you $5k+, not including anesthesia.
If you do decide to get an augmentation, don’t just pick someone out of the newspaper (hint: if a plastic surgeon is advertising, it may be a sign that his/her business isn’t doing to well. Here in Los Angeles, the best doctors NEVER advertise.)
If I were you, I’d speak to my primary care doc or gyno to get a referral. Many have plastic surgeons they recommend and either know or meet through their practice. Ask for a referral from someone you know who has implants, but WHATEVER YOU DO, PLEASE DO TWO THINGS-:
- Make sure to get a consult with at least THREE SPECIALISTS and look at their ‘boob book.’ All plastic surgeons have photos of their work (with the faces obscured) and you can see whose work would suit you best.
- check all docs out at http://www.abms.org/About_Board_Certification/means.aspx.
Make sure your surgeon is a specialist with extensive training, not some dermatologist who took a weekend course.
You’re old enough to make this decision, so please make it an informed one.
