Just wondering b/c my boobs are similar to the before shot, and I was considering getting the surgery so I’d probably look like that after picture.

That’s not an augmentation, that’s a reduction. And they certainly look younger and perkier.

I think they look pretty nice.

Edit: @Gwyn - That doesn’t mean they’re not the same person. so she got a hair cut and went tanning.

What got me thinking was the vertical scar in the before on the woman’s right abdomen.

I think others are too critical. She’s got young looking perky t#ts! At her age that’s pretty spectacular.

Before deciding to undergo any breast surgery, it is important to have a clear knowledge on the different types of breast enhancement surgeries available.

As recommended by Yvonne Lee in her book “To All Women Who Want To Enhance Their Breasts Naturally, But Don’t Know How To Start”, it is best to seek several consultations with different surgeons as different surgeons might be using different techniques, have different opinions, and will have different aesthetic preferences.

One type of breast enhancement surgery is “Benelli Mastopexy (Peri-Areola breast lift)”. Peri-Areola breast lift is one of the several techniques for breast lift whereby the scars are designed around the areola. It is useful for women with a projecting nipple/areola complex (sometimes called torpedo or missile shaped breasts), and can also be used to reduce the size of the areola at the same time.

To be suitable for Benelli Mastopexy, the patient must be in good health, and not have any active diseases or pre-existing medical conditions. Due to the natural stretching and sagging of the breast skin after pregnancy, it is highly recommend that the patient waits until she no longer wants to have any additional children before having the surgery.

Another type of breast enhancement surgery is Breast augmentation. It is technically known as augmentation mammoplasty, it is a surgical procedure to enhance the size and shape of a women’s breast for several reasons. The reasons could be to enhance the body contour of a women who feels that her breast size is too small; to correct a reduction in breast volume after pregnancy; to balance a difference in breast size; or even as a reconstructive technique following breast surgery.

Each patient should understand that in every surgery, pain and discomfort would be included. As every individual has different body constitutes, they will need to spent different amount of time on their recovery process, this would results in a loss of time from work and other activities. As all surgical procedures produce scars, it is important to be very sure of what your decision is before proceeding, as the scar is permanent.

Breast Lift (Mastopexy) is another breast surgery available. Breast lift surgery is performed to remove the excess skin of sagging breasts without greatly reducing the size of the breast. It is usually done as a cosmetic procedure whereby the breast is given a more youthful, and perky appearance.

Breast lift is suitable for women who are happy with the size of their breasts but are dissatisfied with the sagging and loss of firmness that occurs with age. Breast lift surgery can be performed in healthy women of any age. As some older women have a higher possibility of sagging breasts, it is more common for them to choose breast lift surgery.

For those women that intend to enlarge their breasts using implants, they can also consider breast lift to be performed in conjunction as it has a lifting effect for the enlarged breasts. A woman that wishes to raise the position of downward facing nipples or reduce the size of large areola can consider Mastopexy too. This surgical procedure is also a choice for those who want to balance asymmetry of breasts or to match a healthy breast to one that has been operated on for breast cancer.

Breast reduction is another surgery performed by cosmestic surgeons. There are several reasons as to why some women choose to undergo breast reduction surgery in some part of their life. They could face the pains of being tortured by neck, and back pain due to the large sagging breasts. Their shoulder could also be sore due to the bra strap cutting into them. To some, it may even be difficult for them to exercise, play sports, and fit into clothing. Therefore, breast reduction surgery is performed to produce smaller, lighter, and firmer breasts that are more proportionate to the body. These results could help to heal the patient’s physical or emotional pains.

If the patient is a smoker, he/she will be required to stop smoking for at least a week before and after the surgery. For those who are overweight, they will most likely be asked to loss the extra pounds before the surgery. Women intending to breastfeed some point in time are not recommended to undergo this surgery. Women with elastic skin would have a better chance for the breasts to transform back to its original tightness.

It is very important for you to consider the risk and complications of breast surgery. A number of online web site functions commercially, this make it possible for them not to disclose all information about the complications and risks of breast surgery. It is important to collate information from different sources as it could aid in your final decision-making.

The above information is found in Ms Yvonne Lee, internationally acclaimed book “To All Women Who Want To Enhance Their Breasts Naturally, But Don’t Know How To Start”. It describes and details the most important breast enhancement techniques from every corner of the world. Author Yvonne Lee, provides an unbiased pro-and-con analysis of each technique, in addition to practical information such as how and where to get it, cost, and potential impact on insurance coverage. The ebook version of the book is now available at: http://www.breastenhancementbook.com

I am hoping someone can help me.

I keep having this strange sensation in my boobs! Its been happening for 4-5days now, and they feel very strange, achy, and tingly. Like a very light bee sting or something. I also keep getting pains around my bladder area, just short stabbing like pains randomly.

I had breast augmentation surgery last August (8 months ago) and they settled very quickly and i had no problems ever since. But im wondering if my body has suddenly decided to reject them now or something?

I will also add i am on the contraceptive pill, and had a very light period lasting 5 days (finished 4 days ago).

Any ideas on whats happening to me? i feel very strange and i have never had this problem or soreness before!

Thanks

This sort of pain 8 months after breast augmentation is not normal and really needs to be checked out a.s.a.p. I think your period sounds normal though, especially for being on the contraceptive pill. If you can, go back to the doctor who did your breasts, if he is in another country (as a lot of girls get them done abroad now) then make an appointment with your GP and go from there. Make the appointment today, this is not normal. Take care.

Breast Enlargement Surgery – is it an Option?

The need for self improvement is what makes us human; there is most probably something most of us would change about our appearance if we had the opportunity.

Even those who may appear beautiful to you or I might see something different when they look in the mirror, something that cries out as needing to be fixed. One of the things a large number of women would consider changing about themselves is of course their breasts.

The question we need to ask is; what does breast enlargement surgery (Breast Augmentation) involve?

The surgical procedure itself involves the placement of implants, usually made from medical-grade Silicon or sometimes filled with Saline solution, behind the existing breast tissue.

A small incision is made in one of a number of places (there are many choices of incision sites ranging from the usual site underneath the breast to under the armpits and even in some cases through the belly button and involving placement of implants endoscopically) and the implants are placed in situ.

The procedure is of course carried out under a general anaesthetic and you will be required to undergo some medical tests before hand to ensure you are a suitable candidate. You should make your consultant aware of any medical history which could have a bearing on this decision also.

This type of surgical procedure has now been in use for many decades and the risk of experiencing any post-operative side effects very rare. You should expect the area to be sensitive and may experience some slight numbness but these symptoms are temporary in the vast majority of cases.

If you search to find a reputable surgeon and make sure they accredited with BAAPS or BAPRAS you can be sure to receive the best of care.

Breast enlargement surgery (breast augmentation ) become a much safer cosmetic surgery procedure and you can now feel much more confident when going ahead with this enhancement.

Painful Breasts before breast augmentation?

For the past week or so my breasts have been very sore, I am not sure why. I am going to call my physician after I get out of work, just wondered if anyone had similar problems.

The top two reasons I think they are sore is one,
I am a AA and I were very tight water bras every day and never sleep without it on. I figured I may have bruised them?

The other thing is, my period has been irregular the past few months, 3 months ago I had a period for 39 days, the next month I was 13 days late for my period. I usually start on the 20th, but last month I started on the 3rd, so I am guessing this month I will also start tomorrow. Could it be my hormones being messed up?

Oh yeah, and I did a self breast exam and found nothing and I am 20yrs old by the way.

The reason I am asking is because I am scheduled for a breast augmentation on the 28th of May, I don’t want to have to cancel it, I’ve wanted this since I was 15yrs old. Which is why I am hesitant about talking to my surgeon because he may think I am still growing, even though I am flat and have been this size since I hit puberty in the 4th grade. Any help would be great

I think I answered one or more of your questions before - so I am not trying to persuade you or anything.

But it seems to me that all your questions - and the pain too - might (just might) be the alarm bells from your heart, because it really thinks that the whole plastic breasts thing is cruel and unkind, and it would be a sad way to finally give in to some thoughts that have been pestering your life since you were 15.

If that might be the case, promise me at least you will postpone, so long as you don’t feel completely nice about it.

It is not that you have to choose between being defenseless against perstering thoughts for the rest of your life or get implants with all the worries and sufferings that entails.

You do have that options of becoming completely of those thoughts - not that they perhaps wouldn’t recur once in a while, but so that you are not really affected by them anymore.

And on top of that, imagine for a moment the joy your little breasts would feel, if they were really loved and well protected. They would no doubt be the most loving and thrilled in the land.

That would be a sweet end to your story. So do think about what you would be missing out on. And please, anything you’d like to discuss about, send me a mail (you can have my real one too: khadresse@yahoo.dk).

I don’t want anything from you - but my wife is AA too (and was even smaller at 20) so I know this stuff a bit ;o)

all the best

Has Your Body Become a Stranger?

Pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding can be a profound and meaningful stage in a woman’s life. Nothing is quite so miraculous as bringing another human being into the world. But it’s also hard on a woman’s body, and sometimes can leave a mother feeling like she’s been transplanted into a body she no longer recognizes as hers.

While some women are lucky enough to bounce back easily, to others it seems like no amount of dieting and exercise, no matter how diligent, will ever bring back their pre-pregnancy figures. Because of the rapid changes that occur during pregnancy, muscle tone and contour can be difficult to recover, particularly in the breasts and the abdominal area where pregnancy brings about the most dramatic shifts.

If the aftereffects of pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding have left you feeling like a stranger in your own body, cosmetic surgery can offer many options to regain your self-confidence and restore your body to its familiar condition.

Many cosmetic surgeons offer what’s called a “Mommy Makeover”—a combination of procedures specifically targeted at those problem areas that seem to stubbornly hold on to extra fat and refuse to respond even to diligent exercise. A reputable cosmetic surgeon will consult with you to find out exactly what areas you find most troublesome, and make recommendations based on your individual desires.

Procedures you might consider include:

  • Breast lift—Pregnancy and breastfeeding cause the breasts to get larger, but this condition doesn’t last forever. Often after breastfeeding ends, this rapid enlargement followed by decrease in size leaves sag behind. A breast lift can restore breasts to their pre-pregnancy position, giving you back the breasts you remember.
  • Breast augmentation—Even though breasts tend to enlarge during pregnancy, they can actually end up smaller than they were before you became pregnant. Also, breasts can lose tone due to the natural, rapid growth pregnancy causes. Augmentation can restore your breasts to their original shape and contour.
  • Tummy tuck—When even the most vigilant exercise won’t completely exorcise that “baby belly,” a tummy tuck can help you take those last steps toward recovering your pre-baby figure.
  • Liposuction—For those last, stubborn inches of “baby fat” in the thighs, stomach and arms, liposuction can be the answer.

If you’re considering having more children in the future, a Mommy Makeover might not be right for you just yet, as many of the positive results from these procedures can be undone with future pregnancies. But if you’re not planning to have any more children, now might be the time to take that leap into a new you.

A Mommy Makeover can help you regain your self-confidence and feel like yourself again, so you can be the best mom you can be. And after the hard work of pregnancy and childbirth, and the long-term commitment of breastfeeding, giving yourself your body back can be a wonderful gift.

In the Chicago, IL area, Dr. Otto J. Placik of Associated Plastic Surgeons offers Mommy Makeovers geared to your specific needs. To schedule a consultation, please visit our webiste, and we’ll help you decide if a Mommy Makeover is right for you, and what combination of procedures will help you reach your goals.

Chin Implant Augmentation Before and After

World-renowned Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon Dr. Paul S. Nassif, of “Dr. 90210″ and Spalding Drive Plastic Surgery in Beverly Hills, performs a chin augmentation on a young women.

A well defined chin helps give balance to the face and creates a major part of one’s profile. When people look in the mirror, most focus on the size and shape of their noses, their ears, sagging jowls, or fine wrinkling of the skin. But even though few examine their chins with the same discerning eye, having a “weak chin” is certainly not an asset. Surgeons who specialize in rhinoplasty, or surgery of the nose, are often the first to suggest that changes in chin size or shape may enhance a profile as much as rhinoplasty. It is common for the facial plastic surgeon to recommend chin surgery in addition to nose surgery when the surgeon sees that chin augmentation is necessary to achieve facial balance and harmony. Fortunately, this is a relatively straightforward procedure that can make a major difference.

Procedures performed at Spalding Cosmetic Surgery and Dermatology include:
Arm Liposuction, Asian Eyes - Blepharoplasty, BOTOX® Cosmetic, Buttock Liposculpture/Liposuction, Cheek Augmentation/Implants, Chemical Peel, Chin Augmentation/Implants, Collagen Treatments, Ear Surgery (Otoplasty), Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty), Facelift, Forehead Lift, Laser Skin Resurfacing, Lip Augmentation, Lower Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty), Mohs Surgery, Mole Removal, Neck Liposuction, Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty), Spider Vein Treatment (Sclerotherapy), Thigh Liposculpture, Upper Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty), “Anti-Gravity” Facelift, Endoscopic Browlift & Revision Rhinoplasty.

The decision to undergo cosmetic surgery should never be taken lightly; so you should be absolutely confidant in your choice to go under the knife. Always do your research before committing to a cosmetic surgeon; make sure they come highly recommended. And don’t forget: any cosmetic procedure is considered surgery and comes with a certain amount of risk. This guide will walk you through some of the more popular cosmetic procedures; always consult your surgeon for more in depth information.

Breast Augmentation

This procedure will enhance the size of the breasts by using inflatable saline implants. The surgery generally takes about one to two hours to complete under either local anesthetic with sedation or general anesthetic. Breast augmentation is usually an outpatient procedure.

Side Effects: Soreness, swelling, changes in nipple sensation, and bruising. Breasts are usually sensitive for a few weeks.

Surgery Risks

• Implant malfunction that may require removal or replacement of the implants. These include deflation, formation of scar tissue around the implant, bleeding, and infections.

• Some women may experience an increase or decrease in breast sensitivity.

Recovery: After the surgery you can expect to be back at work in a few days. Breasts will be tender for up to four weeks. The scars will begin to fade after several months to a year.

Face Lift

A face lift will improve sagging facial skin, jowls, and loose neck skin, by removing excess fat and tightening the muscles. This procedure is most often performed on men and women over 40. The surgery takes several hours under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia. Generally, this is an outpatient procedure.

Side Effects: Temporary bruising, swelling, numbness, and tenderness of the skin. Skin may feel tight and dry. Men who undergo this surgery will have to shave behind their ears, as the beard growing skin will have been repositioned there.

Risks

• Damage to the nerves that control facial muscles or feeling. This is usually temporary, but it could be permanent.

• Infection.

• Bleeding.

• Scarring.

• Change in hairline.

Recovery: You can expect to go back to work in 10 to 14 days. Bruising will last up to three weeks; avoid strenuous activity for two or more weeks.

Nose Job (Rhinoplasty)

This surgery will reshape the nose by either reducing the size or increasing it. Rhinoplasty involves removing humps, changing the shape of the tip or bridge, narrowing nostrils, and changing the noses position. Some nose jobs are performed for medical reasons to help relieve breathing problems. Your plastic surgeon will assess your needs and design your procedure accordingly. The actual procedure takes anywhere from one to two hours, sometimes longer. You will be put under local anesthesia with sedation, or general anesthesia. Rhinoplasty is usually an outpatient procedure.

Side Effects: Swelling, bruising, and headaches. There may also be some bleeding and stiffness.

Risks

• Infection.

• Burst blood vessels that could result in permanent red spots.

• There is a chance that the surgery won’t provide enough improvement and additional surgery may be required.

Recovery: You can be back at work as early as one to two weeks. Avoid overly strenuous activities for three weeks. You should avoid hitting your nose for eight weeks. Note: it may take up to a year or more before the final appearance is evident.
