Yet good and professional doctors ! oh and planing ?

Just keep in mind that you get what you pay for. If you go with "budget" surgery, you’ll wind up looking like you got cheap plastic surgery. There’s a reason why those doctors charge less.

Ok so I want to get a breast augmentation and I’m just wondering if you can suggest any really good surgeons? I’ve been looking for quite a while but there are so many out there! Also any information you can give me on your experience of having your boobs done? Thanks!

I haven’t had breast augmentation, but I’m in Cardiology and have seen many who have.

There are many cases of encapsulation, read up on that. It’s not pretty and you won’t like the results.

Also, as soon as you’ve had the surgery start saving for the next. The weight of your implants will stretch out your skin, just like natural heavy breasts. However with implants after about 5 years the implan needs to be replaced with a larger one, to fill the stretched skin, or you can see the implants too clearly.

There are a lot of downsides to having big boobs, a lot more than up sides.

Check out a documentary called My Big Breasts and Me, produced by the BBC. Very enlightening.

Anyone out there either really happy or really unhappy with their breast aug.? I have been contemplating this surgery for a few months but am not crazy about the outcome of the before/after pictures i have seen of other women. Just looking for some personal feedback. Thanks in advance!

I had it done a few years ago. I recommend if you are certain on a size to get it in writing before surgery. and I can’t stress enough how you need to research the doctor first. I also do not recommend having it done in the office. That is a common thing. I didn’t get my size in writing but her knew. We discussed it and I took a bra in I wanted to fill. I was assured it wouldn’t be any problem. I am one size smaller than promised. I cant do anything cause it wasn’t in writing. Also while having it done in his office I woke up. I couldn’t be sedated. My friend heard me down the hall screaming because I woke up during surgery. It was very painful and dangerous. I bad experience. As for how they look, I cant complain. He did a good job although I did lose all feeling in them it is common. Over all I am happy and would do it again. BUT in a hospital in case of complications and with a doctor I researched better.

I want plastic surgery…….should i go to india to get the cheaper prices?

Plastic surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

so i am thinking of flying down to mexico for a full body sculpting and lipo suction it is ranging in the price range of 5,000-6,000. they basically take all your fat out and put it where you want it. my great great aunt went and she looks great.
if it worked for her, will it work for me.
also, i have lost a lot of weight but i still have extra skin. this i think will ultimately make me content with myself.

serious answers please?

The old adage is you get what you paid for. Thats alot of work for such a low price, I would be vary wary of that type of "deal" when it comes to any kind of surgery. Often it’s cheaper because there aren’t as many regulations they have to follow. That makes the likelihood of permanent scarring, or much worse, a way higher possibility.

i was just wondering if you can have a boob job under the age of 21?

i live in the uk btw

18 is the age of legal consent for medical procedures in most places.
But it might be hard finding a doctor to do it at that age.

It has been said that one of the most successful procedures in dentistry is the dental implant, many people may describe the process at simply making a hole in the jawbone and placing a special screw which has to be given some time to heal and finally placing a crown which finalizes the operation, simple enough isn’t it?

The truth of the matter is that dental implants and the entire procedure involved in prosthetic dentistry is anything but simple, the high success rate of implants have made it look like it is a simple-everyday process, today we’re going to take a look at the considerations and special evaluations that a restorative dentist along with an oral surgeon make before and during a dental implant.

What a patient schedules for consultation with a restorative dentist he or she will first evaluate the area where the tooth is missing and then he will proceed to evaluate the jawbone density because in order for an implant to work there must be enough bone to support this crew which is going to be “installed” on it — so to speak.

When the bone density is low event that will perform a bone augmentation which is an art and a way to increase the bone density in order to enable the area to support the screw, the teeth which are located around the area where the implant is going to be placed also need to be in good standing so should the tissue around it (gum)

Once it is a data is gathered the restorative dentist must decide what type of implant should be fabricated, this decision also requires to take in consideration specific measurements of the implant such as length, diameter, thread pattern, etc. the entire procedure must be reversed engineered by the restorative dentist prior to the intervention, this includes bone graft if the density is inadequate. The oral surgeon will assist the restorative dentist will rely in computer aided tomography and CAT scans in order to determine the right treatment.

High-tech simulations done through computer software based on CAT scan data offered enough information to the specialists in order to determine the bone quality, implant characteristics and the vital anatomy of the area. As you see the extremely high success rate of dental implants is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of knowledge, careful planning and an error-free execution which can only be achieved after years of experience.

Chronic acne can leave scarring; millions of individuals are trying to cure acne on daily basis; treatments are very different, from herbs lotions and creams, diets, to surgical procedures; costs for acne scar treatment are very different too. Because every patient is treated individually, it is difficult to know the cost for acne scar treatment before an examination. The patient must consult a dermatologist; it is possible to have multiple treatments per scar; sophisticated combination of treatments may be necessary. Usually, a laser acne scar treatment has a cost for anesthesia; there are also facility fees and surgeon fees.

The treatments’ results are hard to predict; many procedures don’t work, many treatments give spectacular results, clear and brilliant skin. Cost for acne scar treatment can be really affordable if the procedure is non surgical. The individuals must know also that not all patients react in the same manner at a treatment; the results can be very different for the same procedure, cream or lotion. There is no cure-all treatment for acne scar; there are only procedures to realize a better appearance of the skin. Deep acne scar are also called “ice picks” and require almost in every patient several procedures, and different types of treatments for visible results. Some individuals can believe that light acne scar can be easily removed, but the treatment can take more than one chemical peel and many weeks of treatment at home.

Scar removal or scar reduction can be done by non surgical or non surgical treatments; this is the reason why the costs are different, and the risks are also different. Laser acne scar treatment seems to be the most effective option; the costs are higher than the non surgical scar removal lotions or creams.

If the dermatologist decides to recommend a chemical peel, then anesthesia and facility fees will be combined. A part of the cost can be covered if the treatment is reported as medical necessity. Dermatologists know how to fill the insurance, because cosmetic procedures are not considered medical necessity by insurance. Some surgeons accept monthly payments for complicated procedures, making easier to pay the cost for acne scar treatment.

Here are the estimated costs for acne scar treatment, depending on the treatment type:

- Punch techniques (ice pick scars) costs $50 per punch

- Chemical peel (mild acne scarring) costs $750 per treatment (must be repeated)

- Dermabrasion shallow imperfections and the approximate cost is $1500 per treatment; some patients need more treatments.

- Laser resurfacing shallow imperfections and cost $3000 per treatment; if necessary, the treatment must be repeated

- Subcision (any kind of scar) - the cost depends on the number of repeated treatments and depends on the surgeon appreciation too.

- Augmentation (deep scars) - the cost is $300 - $700 per cc (cubic centimeter) for collagen (the area depends of the patient’s face topology). The price is established by the surgeon; the results are not long time lasting, so the procedure must be repeated.
